Jimi Hendrix Hussars Jacket

We have been working over the past 18mths to perfect the Jimi Hendrix army jacket and still the work goes on.
The 3nd creation was in Dec/Jan 2010.

Mainly the changes from phase 2 are with the arm detail, again this was using the same cloth and simulated fur fabrics in the main construction.
We still felt the chest braid was too heavy but the arm design is more detailed which is much closer to the original Hendrix jacket.

Pricing is also a concern as with the additional detail the production cost of the hand sewn arm design increases. We felt this would be our Stage performance range, any additional improvements would be to achieve a parade quality Tunic with a price tag to match.
Aimed at those private clients whom did not want a tailored piece, but wanted a jacket as close to the original as possible.

Phase 4 would meet that requirement and be ready for Winter 2010.

We have been working over the past 18mths to perfect the Jimi Hendrix army jacket and still the work goes on.
The 2nd creation was back in Spet 2009.

Mainly the changes from phase 1 are with the front chest frogging and the arm detail, again this was using the same cloth and simulated fur fabrics in the main construction.
We still felt the chest braid was too heavy and the arm design needed further detail.

By this time our customers where increasing and the jacket becoming increasingly popular.

But we still wanted more... on to phase 3

Jimi Hendrix Army Jacket

We have been working over the past 18mths to perfect the Jimi Hendrix army jacket and still the work goes on.
The 1st creation was back in March 2009, when we were commissioned by Ata a young university student to produce a budget jacket.

We worked together from our experiance, posters and photographs to produce a basic shape, trimmings and design.
Next we chose the cloth and frabrics to be used in the main construction of the hendrix jacket. it needed to be wool and needed to be good qaulity
Our buyers gathered the buttons and braid and set to work hand stitching the arm design forllowed by the chest rope and gold lace braid.

The effect and end result was great and just what Ata was expecting.

But we wanted more, and set about improving the design and quality...

Decided to get-on-board and start all those social networking marketing ideas/sites, all over the weekend. Facebook, Twitter and Blog have all been selected, lets see if I can find the time to keep them all up-to-date and still find time to have a life and have life's experiences in order to record them!!!

My name is Steve Morgan an 'entrepreneur' as it turns out, it didn't start out that way....

Over the next few months I plan, along side millions of others to record my life's little happenings, with a view that millions of others need to read about millions of other peoples lives, I guess to make their lives seem less or more relevant.
